Will you Take the place of my partner during labor?
Oh no. Definitely not. I will be your support system and guide (for both you and your husband) throughout your pregnancy and birth with the goal of helping you achieve the birth you dream of together.
I will enable and assist your husband or partner to participate in your support at his comfort level. I will also make sure he stays fed, hydrated and gets a minute for a bathroom break. This will allow him to be fully present with you as you bring your baby earthside.
