Whether you’re trying to have a baby, are unexpectedly pregnant, experiencing a loss, or trying to understand your options, you belong here.

I’m Amelia Protiva, Certified Doula and Perinatal Community Health Worker supporting families across southern Missouri from West Plains. My practice is rooted in the belief that you deserve to have community support, to understand all of your options, and to have an advocate by your side.

From sharing information to a mean hip squeeze to feeding your baby, I’ll be in your corner every step of the way.

Two young men are in a hospital room next to a woman who has just given birth. One man is kissing the woman's forehead while the other is holding the newborn baby close to her. The woman is lying in a hospital bed with medical equipment visible in the background.

I believe reproductive care should be trauma-informed, inclusive, and unbiased.

I work with folks of all gender identities, cultures, family structures, birth preferences, and life circumstances. Epidural or unmedicated, breast or formula, growing your family or not, your story belongs to you. I’m here to ensure you feel safe, supported, and heard along the way.
